• Persons working with this device must be physically able to handle the weight, the mass and the power of the TORNADOR®
Black when it is operated.
• Before using the TORNADOR® Black, make sure that the tank and the air hoses are free from soiling of any kind. Possible
soiling can act as projectiles and cause considerable injuries and/or damages.
• Before each connection or use, check that all connections (in particular of screws and nuts) are firmly seated as well as if the
TORNADOR® Black and the hoses are tight in particular with regard to damages of the compressed-air lines and the
connection pieces.
• The TORNADOR® Black causes a considerable sound pressure. Therefore, it is necessary to wear an appropriate ear
protection in order to avoid damages to health.
• When working with the TORNADOR® Black small parts might be thrown up:
Therefore, it is necessary to wear appropriate protective goggles in order to avoid injuries of the eyes.
• The TORNADOR® Black atomizes the cleaning liquids to extremely fine particles. In order to avoid damages caused by
inhaling such particles, it is recommended to wear an appropriate respiratory protection.
Make sure that persons in your immediate vicinity are also wearing corresponding hearing protection, protective goggles and
respiratory protection.
• The TORNADOR® Black must only be operated in well ventilated places.
• The TORNADOR® Black must be operated at a pressure from 5.5 to 6.3 bars. It can be operated at a pressure of maximum
8.5 bars. Higher air-pressure can cause damages and severe physical injuries.
• The TORNADOR® Black must be depressurized when filling in liquid (cleaning agents). This must be ensured before
screwing off the tank.
• Do not use any cleaning agents which are acid, alkaline and/or inflammable.
This would endanger the durability of the TORNADOR® Black and this way give reason to the risk of damage of the device
and severe health injuries.
• If it is necessary to delude cleaning agents always follow the indications of the manufacturer in order to determine the mixing
ratio.
• Connect a compressed-air hose to the device. It might be dangerous to use quick-action couplings directly on
compressed-air devices since they might detach accidently. Never direct the TORNADOR® Black to the face or body. This
applies for you, for third persons and for animals. A misuse can cause severe health injuries – in particular even the loss of
vision.
• Make sure that you are standing safely and that the compressed-air hoses do not hinder you working with the TORNADOR®
Black. Flipping, falling or tumbling with this device may cause severe health damages.
• Safety relevant components such as e. g. safety belt, electrical or electronic components must not be cleaned using the
TORNADOR® Black! Otherwise they might get damaged and possibly no longer satisfy their safety relevant function.
• Turn off the air supply when the device is not used respectively when it is cleaned or maintained.
• Keep the TORNADOR® Black out of the reach of children.
• Also follow possible other safety instructions which you received together with this device.

Special information:

The indications and recommendations in word and writing which we give to support the purchaser/user are the results of our
experience gained and latest knowledge. Due to the various application options and processing conditions these indications are
non-binding and do not represent any legal relationship and no other responsibilities resulting of the purchasing contract. In any
case, the buyer must check if the device is appropriate for the intended purpose at his own responsibility. Please always read
the safety-related warning notes of the cleaning agents and in case of doubt always contact the manufacturer.
Our liability and responsibility solely comply with our general terms and conditions. They are neither extended by these
information nor by the technical advice of our technical field service.
Operating instructions:
1 Remove the loose dirt from the surfaces to be cleaned (for instance by brushing or aspirating).
2 Turn the green rocker to the horizontal position in order to switch on the (cleaning) liquid in the tank. Add the cleaning agent to
the tank only immediately before use and remove possibly existing liquids after use in order to avoid clogging of the suction filter
and residues of cleaning agent in the hoses.
3 Important: Hold the cleaning spout at an angle of about 45° at a distance of only 1-3 cm from the surface which needs to be
cleaned.
4 Push the "trigger" completely through; slowly move the TORNADOR® Black in circles on the surface to be cleaned.
5 Turn the green rocker to the horizontal position "air only". Press the trigger and dry the cleaned surface.
6 Wipe the cleaned surface with a dry cloth in order to remove eventually remaining humidity.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE after use
• To clean the filter: Turn the green rocker to the horizontal position "air only" hold the cleaning nozzle in a bucket filled with
clear water and push the trigger completely through in order to remove the dirt from the nozzle.
• Additionally it is necessary to rinse the hoses and the suction filter after each use in order to avoid clogging by cleaning agent
residues. To do so, fill water in the empty, clean tank and connect it to the device as usual. Turn the rocker to the vertical
position and fully push through the "trigger" for about 20 seconds in order to be able to suck in water and to clean it by rinsing.
In case of heavy soiling of the filter it is necessary to pull the metal ball from the suction hose and clean the filter in there e. g. by
means of an air blow gun.
• Before performing any cleaning, repair or maintenance works it is necessary to disconnect the TORNADOR® Black from the
air supply (except for rinsing as described above). If this warning note is not obeyed it may result in severe health damages.
• Replace damaged or defected parts. The rotating kit (item No AK), nozzle (item No 11) as well as all hoses and seals are
wearing parts. Please contact your distributor for corresponding original spare parts.
REQUIRED AIR QUANTITY
For perfect performance the TORNADOR® Black requires constant air pressure from 5.5 to 6.3 bars.
ATTENTION: Constant air quantities vary depending on the size and power of the compressor.
For this device a pressure regulator which allows controlling the quantity of the cleaning agent supply is optionally available
(order No ZZ-1020, angular air regulator 1/4"). Depending on the type it is possible to equip your Tornador Black with this
regulator at the factory.
Compressed-air regulator
The Tornador Black requires an air pressure from 5.5 to 6.3 bars for optimum performance. Lots of compressors generate
a higher pressure. It is possible to vary the pressure by means of a compressed-air regulator. In case of a lower air pressure a
larger amount of cleaning agent is sucked in (for cleaning). At a higher air pressure a smaller amount of cleaning agent is
sucked in and you are working with more power. If the supply of chemicals is turned off it is possible to use the device for drying
purposes.
