Making coffee with ground coffee
1. Fill with fresh cold water and unlock the top lid as above.
2. Put desired quantity of ground coffee into the filter.(Make sure
the filter has been assembled correctly as below before adding
ground coffee.)
3. Lock the top lid by pressing downwards until heard the click.
4. Place the jug on the warm plate.
5. Plug into the outlet, switch on the appliance by turning the
control dial anticlockwise from "OFF" to "ground coffee" posi-
tion, the on/off & working indicator light will light up.
6. Press the "START" button, the appliance starts to work, the
on/off & working indicator light flickers.
7. The appliance will brew until the water tank is emptied, then
enter into keep-warm mode. The on/off & working indicator
light stops flickering. The warm plate will keep the brewed cof-
fee warm at:
◦ Above 75 °C in half an hour.
◦ Above 70 °C in an hour.
8. If you have no operate the appliance once again, it will auto-
matically shut itself off when reach the default time. You have
to turn the control dial clockwise to "OFF" position then un-
plug from the outlet.
Caution: Danger of scalding
Never open the top lid during the both of grinding & brewing cycle to avoid accidental injury,
even if this appliance is equipped with a safety interlock system, which prevents the appliance
from operating if the top lid is open or the grind & brew basket has not been assembled correctly.
In case of malfunctioning during grinding & brewing cycle, such as water/coffee is not draining
from the grind & brew basket, unplug the appliance and wait 10 minutes before opening and
checking.
