Pulse ammeter Requirements

Ammeter specification request:
1. Basic request: three-phase, four-wire pulse ammeter:
A. The ammeter can calculate the three-phase AC power;
B. The ammeter can finish certain pulse quantity divide for 1 kWh power electricity ;
C. The pulse signal's breadth value is DC 5 V, and each signal width must be larger than 80 ms.
D. The pulse signal is a no-source method ; that is, outside should supply power to the ammeter.
1. Ammeters are of two types: mechanical and electronic; we can use either depending on if they can meet the above
requirement. Select the ammeter rated current according to the total power consumption of the outdoor unit.
The connections are done via
1) direct connection;
2) Connection by current mutual inductance type; and
3) connection by current, voltage mutual inductance type (not widely used).
Note: the direct type of connection is the most cost effective; however, when the current is very high (more than 100 A),
the mutual inductance type should be used.
