7.1
Operation
The MOTORISED SWEEPER is a professional appliance designed
to sweep and clean dry industrial floors or asphalted surfaces
(warehouses, outdoor and multi-storey car parks, laboratories in
general, service stations, sports centres, camp sites and holiday
villages, hotels, supermarkets, workshops) to remove solid material
only, such as dust, soil, paper or similar by means of a brush outside
the frame of the appliance. The machine moves the debris to the side
to be picked up by other means.
The brush is rotated by means of a direct connection to the electric
motor.

rules may cause injury or damage to equipment.
IMPORTANT - The machine is not approved as a road
vehicle and may not be used on public roads.

All operators must be suitably trained, including with hands-on
experience. This training should emphasise:
That the machine may not be used on public roads;
That passengers may not be transported;
The need for attention and concentration while working;
Do not use the machine on slopes of greater than 12%.
Remember there is no such thing as a "safe" slope;
Pay attention to possible bumps, holes or other hidden
dangers;
Do not change direction suddenly;
Never use the machine with defective guards or without
the safety devices;
Before leaving the controls, unplug from the power socket
and activate the parking brake. Turn off the motor and
remove the ignition key.
7.5
Preliminary checks and operations
IMPORTANT: do not start the machine up while the
preliminary checks and operations are underway
Failure to observe these instructions may cause
injury or damage to equipment.
For the battery model:
Check the level of the electrolyte fluid inside the battery
and top up if necessary.
Charge the battery.
7.6
Controls
The operator controls the machine using the controls on the
handlebar and at the back of the machine. On the back there is a
knob. Turning this knob clockwise or anticlockwise determines the
rotation of the brush. There is also an LED indicating the battery
charge.
The LED changes colour from green (battery charged)
through orange (battery starting to run down) to red when the battery
is flat.
On the handlebar, there is a handle. Adjust the brush rotation knob,
press the yellow button on the side of the handle and hold the
handle down to make the brush turn.
When the handle is released, the motor stops. If the yellow button is
not pressed, the motor does not start up when the handle is
pressed.
