•
Press the steam trigger on the handle until no more steam exits, to release any residual steam and pressure within the
boiler.
•
Switch off the product by pressing the mains on/off switch.
•
Disconnect the power supply cable from the mains.
•
Unscrew the safety cap. Please note that the safety cap cannot be opened if there is even minimal steam pressure in the
boiler. This guarantees maximum safety for the end user.
•
Wait for a few minutes to allow the boiler to cool down.
•
To refill the boiler, simply use the funnel provided and fill no more than 1.2L of water.
WARNING: When refilling the hot boiler, we strongly recommend adding water SLOWLY to avoid steam blowback from the
aperture.
DRY MODE
•
The DRY mode can be selected simultaneously with the steam cleaning or immediately after it.
•
Press the DRY button on the hose handle to start the water and dirt removal (Fig. 8C)
•
Press again the DRY button to stop the function.
EMPTYING THE DEBRIS TANK
•
The debris tank needs regular checking and emptying.
Furthermore if there is a noticeable difference in the sound of the product and the dirt removal efficiency decreases
significantly, the debris tank requires emptying.
•
Remove the door by pressing the two latches on either side of the product (Fig. 9).
•
Simply remove the debris tank and discard waste, rinse the debris tank and replace to the main unit (Fig. 10-11).
PRODUCT MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT : after each use check and, if necessary, clean filters.
Pre-motor filters
•
The primary mesh filter is removed by gripping the tab and pulling to the outer of the door (Fig. 12).
The foam filter is now free to be removed also.
•
Please rinse the mesh frame and foam under warm water and dry completely (Fig. 13).
•
Replace to the door.
Float mesh cover (Fig. 14)
•
Remove the mesh cover and rinse under running water, to dislodge any debris.
IMPORTANT: Please be careful in replacing this cover, as without it VAP&DRY will not work correctly.
Exhaust foam filter (Fig. 15)
•
Remove the filter, rinse under warm water and dry completely before replacing (Fig. 16).
ACCESSORIES
Floor brush (Fig. 2G)
Use this tool over large surfaces using the following inserts:
•
Bristled inserts: suggested for hard floors.
•
Rubber squeegee inserts: suggested to dry wet hard floors.
•
Carpet inserts: suggested for carpets and moquette.
How to fit inserts: (Fig. 17)
Slide the two locks on the top of the nozzle to the open position.
Remove the current attachment and insert the alternative with the large section to the front of the nozzle.
Lock the attachments in position by sliding the locking features on the top of the nozzle to the locked position.
Crevice tool with angled steam nozzle (Fig. 2C)
Ideal to clean difficult to reach areas, it may be used also to:
•
Treat stains on carpets.
•
Clean corners, windows frames etc.
•
Clean taps, sinks and other sanitary fixtures etc.
•
Cleaning shutters, venetian blinds, radiators, car interiors etc.
•
Steaming houseplants keeping min 50 cm safety distance.
Accessories may be screwed on the steam nozzle:
•
Steam jet tool (Fig. 2D) To reach awkward areas such as radiators, doorposts, sills, shutters and toilet bowls.
•
Small round brush (Fig. 2D), to remove stubborn dirt from small surfaces such as hobs, shutters, rugs between tiles,
sanitary fittings and so on.
Multi Steam set (Fig. 18)
The exclusive Multi Steam set has been designed to respond at indoor and outdoor cleaning needs using the supplied inserts:
•
Scrub insert: for stubborn dirt, such as greasy tiles (Fig. 18A).
•
Sponge insert: to treat delicate surfaces, such as the bath, the sink etc sensitive to scratches (Fig. 18B).
•
Brass insert: for heavy duty use, such as barbecues, outdoor tiles etc (Fig. 18C).
•
Window squeegee: for windows, mirrors and smooth surfaces (Fig. 18D).
Iron (accessory, not included as standard)
Connect to the product in the same manner as the hose.
When steam ironing, always set the iron temperature control to cotton or linen.
•
Press the steam request button on the iron to allow the steam to exit.
•
When DRY ironing (without steam) set the knob to the required temperature for the fabric.
At first you may find that the steam contains some water globules and we recommend that the first jet of steam is released onto
an old cloth, and is not directed onto the garment to be ironed. To obtain a continuous steam burst move the button forward.
The steam jet will continue even when you release the button.
