1.3 Connect pipework of the solar circuit to the upper and
lower connections with the help of compression fittings.
When using soft or thin walled pipes, reinforcing sleeves
have to be used for the additional stabilization of the
pipe. The pipe ends must be cut at right angles and
have to be free of burrs. Introduce pipe until stop and
firmly tighten the compression fittings by using a span-
ner. Hold firm while tightening.
1.4 Screw safety group (8) onto the ball valve. Mount dis-
charging pipe of the safety valve towards the collecting
basin and the connecting pipe of the safety group to-
wards the expansion tank.
1.5 Reconnect cable to the pump and push control retainer
with the control onto the back insulation.
Now the front insulation can be slipped over the control
retainer and be pushed onto the back insulation until it
clicks into position.
1.6 Flush solar installation thoroughly, then fill it with solar
liquid and carry out leakage test. Set the pump speed to
suit either the number of collectors or the collector sur-
face area. If required, fine adjustment is carried out with
the ball valve within the flow measuring device.
1.7 The supply and return pipe are to be insulated up to the
thermal insulation.
1.8 Functional description and setting of the control is de-
tailed in the separate operating instructions supplied
with each transmission station.
