Addendum – Australian Consumer Law – Warranty against defects
Milestone AV Technologies Australia Pty Ltd warrants its Milestone/VuePoint products to be free of defects in material and
workmanship for the product's Warranty Period. The Warranty Period commences on the original purchase date of the product.
The Milestone/VuePoint Warranty Period is:
Five (5) years for metal video monitor mounts. Three (3) years for plastic speaker mounts; all speaker stands; all furniture; and all
wood (MDF) accessories.
For the avoidance of doubt, in order for you to be entitled to claim under this Warranty, you must lodge your claim within the
relevant period specifi ed above.
Important Legal Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a
replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are
also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount
to a major failure.
This warranty does not change or take away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Your right to claim under this
policy for the benefi ts covered is in addition to other rights and remedies you have under the law in relation to the product.
The product must be used strictly in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions. This Warranty extends only to the original
purchaser of the product and is automatically void if your Milestone/VuePoint product is modifi ed in any way, improperly
installed, taxed beyond its stated weight capacity or otherwise misused or abused. All Milestone/VuePoint products are
