Indicator Lights
•
High Speed / Low Speed LED's - These indicate the stirrer's set range.
•
Overload LED - This indicator will fl ash when an overload condition is
approached. This indicator will remain on when an overload condition is
reached and the stirrer is shut down.
Overload conditions will occur when:
•
•
When the overload condition is due to torque demand, the stirrer will automati-
cally reduce speed to reduce the load. If reduction in speed is not suffi cient to
keep the load in the stirrer's capable range, then the stirrer will shut down.
When the overload condition is due to overheating, the stirrer will not automatically
reduce speed. If the overload light is fl ashing and the speed has not reduced
from the set point, the load should be reduced by the operator.
In either case, if the stirrer completely shuts down due to an overload condition, it
can be reset by powering off the stirrer. If the stirrer has overheated then it must
cool down before it can be reset.
The torque demand is outside the unit's capabilities
(solution is too viscous).
The unit overheats due to extended operation at very high
torque and/or speed demands.
