KNEE LIFTER
The knee lifter is very helpful with sewing techniques such as
machine applique and free-motion sewing. It allows you to
keep both hands on your project yet control the raising and
lowering of the presser foot using your knee.
To insert the knee lifter, first remove the socket cover from
the front of the machine. Keeping the ribs of the knee lifter
sideways, insert toward the knee lifter socket until it ends.
Move the knee lifter to the right to raise the presser foot.
Release the knee lifter to lower the presser foot.
and replace the socket cover.
Attention: Do not touch or move the knee lifter while
sewing, otherwise the machine beeps with an error
message and stops.
EDGE GUIDE / QUILTING BAR
The edge guide/quilting bar is best utilized when paired with
the all purpose foot or the quarter inch foot. The edge guide/
quilting bar is used to sew perfect straight seams. It can be
used to stitch parallel lines in quilting, or can be used to help
guide you to sew 5/8 of an inch seam allowances.
To attach the guide, simply insert it into the opening of the
shank at the back of the presser foot on your machine.
