Limiting the stroke will result in less flow.
To adjust the stroke limiter, perform the next steps:
• Make sure that the pump lever is locked using the push and unlock (2).
• Remove the footplate (12).
• Adjust the stroke limiter (11) by turning the stroke limiter. Turning in results in a lower stroke.
• Unlock the pump lever to see how far the stroke is limited.
• If required, repeat step 1, 3 and 4 to obtain the right stroke.
• Replace the footplate (12).

After use

6.4.1 Shut down and disconnect
See Fig. 2 up to Fig. 8.
• Set the pressure relief valve (3) on the pump to the open (0) position.
• Return the pump lever in the lowest position, push on the pump lever and lock the pump lever with
the push and unlock hook.
• Disconnect the hydraulic hose(s) from the tool and the pump. See chapter 5.3.
6.4.2 Inspection
• Check the pump for completeness, leaks and damage. Do not use the pump if it leaks or is
damaged and contact the Holmatro dealer.
Note
The PA38 and PA58 pump can leak a little bit of oil out of the de-aeration valve (14)
• Check the oil level in the pump. Refer to section 8.4.5.
6.4.3

Cleaning and storage

• Depressurize the equipment before storage.
• Clean the pump and any accessories before storage.
• Clean the couplers and dust caps. Make sure the dust caps are installed.
• Dry the pump if it was used in wet conditions. Use additional preservatives (WD-40) on the external
steel parts.
• Store the pump horizontally in a dry, well ventilated area.
