    This user manual covers the basic aspects for the safe use and operation of this equipment. First of all check that your equipment is complete and undamaged. Notify your Holmatro dealer immediately if the equipment is damaged or incomplete, and do not use the equipment.

    The compact design and light weight make it easy for one person to carry. The DPU31 runs a two-stage axial piston pump that can build up a maximum pressure of 720 bar (10,500 psi), and can run two rescue tools at the same time. The SPU16 runs a three-stage axial piston pump that can build up a maximum pressure of 720 bar (10,500 psi).

  • Página 7 When the service time is due, the green LED (C) will flash. Contact your Holmatro dealer for maintenance of the pump. The service light will not cause the engine to turn off, but it will continue to flash until service is performed.

As soon as the hose is connected, oil is flowing through the hose’s inner shell and returning back to the tank of the pump through the hose’s outer shell.     9.2.4 Pressure relief device A pressure relief device (PRD) is provided for relieving pressure in the hydraulic hose. The pressure relief device is only used to relieve pressure in hoses caused by elevated temperatures (i.e. if the hoses are left lying in the hot sun).   • Página 15 9.3 Important additional user information 9.3.1 Hoses The hydraulic hoses that make up the hydraulic system need attention. Observe the following points: Do not use hoses without proper anti-kink devices and prevent kinking behind the attachment. Prevent kinking of the hoses and never bend the hoses beyond their minimum bending radius 89 mm (3 ½”).

    (1500 meters). A very rich mixture will also foul the spark plug and cause hard starting. Contact the Holmatro dealer to have the engine modified if the pump is to be always used at altitudes greater than 5,000 feet (1500 meters). Even with carburetor modification, engine horsepower will decrease about 3.5% for each 1,000 foot (300 meter) increase in altitude.

    In order to service the spark plug, you will need a spark plug wrench. One is supplied with the DPU31 and SPU16 power units. See specifications for the recommended spark plug. To ensure proper engine operation, the spark plug must be properly gapped and free of deposits.

    9.2 Conectando las mangueras y el equipo de Rescate/ uso de la bomba. 9.2.1 Lista de chequeo: Revise los niveles de los fluidos solo cuando la bomba esté en posición horizontal y la bomba esté apagada. Garantice suficiente ventilación. No revise estos fluidos cerca de llamas abiertas o chispas.

    Servicio del Filtro de Aire: Un filtro de aire con polvo, restringe el flujo de aire al carburador. Para prevenir que el carburador funcione inapropiadamente, hay que hacerle mantenimiento regularmente al filtro de aire. Cuando se opere el equipo en áreas con mucho polvo, se deberá hacer el mantenimiento más frecuentemente.

    Para hacerle el mantenimiento a la bujía usted necesita una llave de bujía. Dicha llave es suministrada con las bombas DPU31 y SPU16. Mire las recomendaciones de que tipo de bujía se recomienda. Para garantizar un perfecto funcionamiento del motor, la bujía deberá estar bien calibrada y libre de suciedades en su sistema de chispa.
