If the temperature reading on the device is not correct, follow the instructions below to calibrate
temperature reading for the device.
1.- Put a container with hot water on top.
NOTE:
We recommend calibrating the device at the normal working temperature of the
cooker at low temperature.
2.- Put the cooker at low temperature, as explained in item 2 of the usage section of this
instruction manual.
3.- Connect the low temperature cooker to the electrical network and turn the device on.
4.- Push the CANCEL button and then push the ºC/ºF button. Keep both buttons pushed down at
the same time until the device makes an audible signal. The signal means the device is in
calibration mode and the following data will be shown on the display.
5.- The temperature reading of the low temperature cooker will be shown on the upper part of the
display.
6.- Measure the temperature of the water using a digital thermometer with a calibrated probe.
7.- Use the TIME buttons to adjust the temperature the low temperature cooking device reads with
the value read by the digital thermometer.
8.- The difference between the device temperature reading and the thermometer reading is shown
on the central part of the display. Deviations up to ± 7º C can be corrected.
NOTE:
Calibration can be done for both ºC and ºF units of measurement and the correction
will be the same for both readings.
9.- Calibration is finished when both temperatures coincide. Push the CANCEL button to exit
calibration mode.
