5. Use
• Insert the plug into the mains outlet. The stroboscope begins to flash.
• Adjust the speed with the knob at the back of the stroboscope (slow → fast).
• If you want to use the remote control, plug the jack of the remote control into the INPUT connector. Put the switch
to the ON position and adjust the speed with the SPEED knob.
• If you would like to use a second VDL1500ST, connect the OUTPUT connector of the master stroboscope and
the INPUT connector of the slave stroboscope using a cable with stereo jacks.
NOTE: It is possible that your stroboscope is not working. In this case, open the cover at the front and check the
connections. The insulation may be too deep in the connector. Loosen the screws and pull the wires out a
few millimetres to make a good connection. Fasten the screws again.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. The housing, visible parts, mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension, trussing)
should not be deformed, modified or tampered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not
change the location of the connections.
3. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
4. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
5. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
6. There are no user-serviceable parts.
7. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
