Intended use

The RV-HD-STANDARD rear view video system is a heavy-duty video system
which is mostly used in HGV's, building vehicles or other similar commercially-
used vehicles. It enables the driver to observe the area directly behind the
vehicle from the driver's seat, for example, when reversing or parking.
Since the rear view system is designed merely as an additional aid for
reversing, it does not relieve you of the duty to take proper care
when reversing.

Functional description

The rear view video system consists of a camera and a monitor. The camera
is supplied with power and switched on via the reversing light. The monitor is
supplied with power from a connected power source (such as the ignition)
and may be switched on manually if necessary.
The camera with integrated microphone, which is encased in aluminium
housing, transmits image and sound to the monitor via a cable.
The 7" monitor can also be connected to a second camera (accessory).
The integrated loudspeaker can play back sound recorded by the camera.
