more than 0.3 MPa. After the cleaning, the disc should be attached to the product and installation should be checked correctly.
Mounting working pads (IV)
A polishing wheel allows only mounting pads by means of Velcro fastening. It is forbidden to mount other types of pads, e.g.
fastened with a string.
Pads should be mounted concentrically on the polishing wheel. Non-centric mounting of a pad can lead to additional oscillations
during operation, which consequently may lead to uneven work eff ect, damage to the polished surface, and in extreme cases even
to the destruction of a pad, wheel or surface polished.
If a pad has been fi tted with holes to facilitate the removal of dust produced during operation, the pad should be placed in such a
way that holes in a pad align with holes in a polishing wheel.
USING POLISHER
Pull out the tool plug from the mains socket!
Before starting the work with the tool make sure that the housing body and connecting cable with a plug are not damaged. If any
damage is visible, it is forbidden to connect the device to the mains!
Check that the polishing wheel is not damaged. If any cracks, scratches or other damages are visible, the wheel should be
replaced with a new one without any failures.
It is forbidden to work using damaged wheels!
Select the type of polishing pad appropriate to the type of work.
Wear eye protection, hearing protection and work gloves.
Make sure the switch remains in "OFF" position. Then plug the device to a mains socket.
Take the right posture that guarantees your balance and start the polisher by pressing the switch. The switch may be blocked in an
ON position. While holding down the switch, press and hold the lock button, and then release the pressure on the switch.
The lock is released by pressing the switch again.
Proceed to work by gently applying the side surface of the working pad to the workpiece (V). During the work, do not exert too
much pressure on the work surface. Move the tool smoothly to and from yourself. Observe the eff ects of work and adjust the
rotational speed and pressure of polishing wheel. In the case of using polishing agents, read the documentation provided with
them prior to work.
Do not overload the polisher - temperature of outside surfaces can never exceed 60 °C.
After completed work, turn off the tool, remove the plug from the mains socket and carry out the inspection.
After releasing the switch, the wheel rotates for some time. Put aside the polisher only after the wheel has stopped completely.
Adjustment of rotational speed (VI)
The polisher has a speed control by means of a rotary controller placed above the switch. It is possible to smoothly adjust the
rotational speed within the range specifi ed in the table with technical data. Lower rotation should be applied for initial application
of polishing paste, after spreading it on the polished surface, increase the rotational speed. When polishing without a paste, apply
high rotational speed.
Additional notes
Declared total value of vibration was measured by means of standardized test method and can be used to compare one tool with
the other. Declared total value of vibration can be used in the initial exposure assessment.
Note! Emission of vibration when working with the tool may vary from the declared value, depending on how the tool is used.
Note! It is required to determine safety measures to protect the operator, which are based on the exposure assessment in real
conditions of use (including all elements of work cycle, such as for example time when tool is switched off or idling and time of
activation).
MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
ATTENTION! Before any adjustment, technical service or maintenance operations unplug the tool. Once the operations have been
fi nished, the technical conditions of the tool must be assessed by means of external evaluation and inspection of the following
elements: body and handle, conductor with a plug and defl ection, functioning of the electric switch, patency of ventilation slots,
sparking of brushes, noise level of functioning of bearings and gears, start-up and smoothness of operation. During the guarantee
period, the user cannot dismantle the electric tools or change any sub-assemblies or elements, since it will cancel any guarantee
rights. All irregularities detected at overhaul or during functioning of the tools are a signal to have the tool repaired at a service
shop. Once the functioning has been concluded, the casing, ventilation slots, switches, additional handle and protections must be
cleansed with a stream of air (at a pressure not exceeding 0.3 MPa), with a brush or a cloth without any chemical substances or
cleaning liquids. Tools and handles must be cleansed with a clean cloth.
