Read and follow the working instructions precisely.
Level 1 BASIC
1 Thoroughly clean the lens using insect remover
or glass cleaning agent. Then dry using a lint-
free cloth or microfibre cloth.
2 Mask surrounding components with two layers
of masking tape to protect them from damage.
3 Set the DL Polishing Machine to the slow-
est speed. Inspect the surface and polish as
required.
Dry polishing
Polish the lens with P240 → P320 → P400.

Wet polishing
Clean and wet the surface with water (spray

bottle), select the polishing pad and dampen,
polish the lens with P500 → P1000 → P2000 →
P4000.
Check the surface finish between each
pad change.
Take care to dampen the pad at regu-
lar intervals during polishing.
4 Set the DL Polishing Machine to the highest
speed, then finish-polish the headlight surface
with P 80 PC quick-finish polish (polishing
fleece) and then with P90 PC high-gloss polish
(Pad orange). Ensure that the pad is completely
wetted with polish. Rub off the remaining polish
using a microfibre cloth.
Optional
Spray the headlight surface with polymer sur-

face protector and polish off using a dry cloth.

Level 2 EXTRA
Headlights with painted surface
only.
Carry out steps 1 - 4 as for Level 1.

5 Clean the lens using Aqua silicone remover (dry-
ing can be accelerated by the use of a hot-air
fan (max. 300°C)).
6 Apply PC Primer over the whole lens and allow
to dry until the surface of the lens is transparent
again (drying can be accelerated by the use of
a hot-air fan (max. 300°C)).
7 Paint lens with 2-component transparent lacquer
according to the instructions for use.
Time required per lens: approx. 20 minutes
