In order to switch the heating zone (1 or 3) off manually before the time has elapsed, press
the On/Off button
7.5 Child lock
The induction hotplate has a child lock so that the settings cannot be changed accidentally.
Risk of injury
Each of the two heating zones (1, 3) has a separate child lock. If you wish to prevent children
fiddling with the induction hob, use both buttons (14) to lock it. Also make sure that the
indicators (15) are lit up on the control panels for the left heating zone (1) and the right
heating zone (3). If you forget to lock one of the heating zones, there is a risk of burns, injuries
or other damage.
How to activate or deactivate the child lock:
1.
Press the
button (14) once. An acoustic signal can be heard and the indicator (15) lights up. The
child lock for the relevant heating zone (1 or 3) is now activated.
2.
Press and hold the
indicator (15) light goes out. The child lock is now deactivated again. You can use the heating zone
(1 or 3) as normal.
You can also activate the child lock when the induction hotplate is switched off.
8. Maintenance/cleaning
In order to avoid burning food residues, clean the induction hotplate after every use.
Risk of burns!
Wait until the heating zones (1, 3) are completely cool before cleaning the appliance.
Otherwise you could get burnt.
Risk of electric shock!
Always remove the mains plug from the mains socket before cleaning. Otherwise, this
could result in an electric shock.
Do not poor or spray liquids onto the induction hotplate or through the ventilation slots.
This could cause short circuits which could cause electric shocks or burns.
Warning about property damage
Do not use abrasive or astringent detergents or tools which could scratch the surface. This can
cause damage to the heating zones (1 and 3).
Clean the side surfaces and the power cable (2) with a slightly damp cloth.
