-FILL RESERVOIR
1. On Pourover Models,
Fill reservoir to Max.
line. On Automatic
Models, Plumb the
unit to specifications.
See page 8
CAUTION: Do not place the brewer in a sink
or other water source.
-CHECK POD HOLDER
2. To ensure the Pod
Holder is locked in
place, use thumb to
press the pod holder
release button to
eject the holder and
then press all the
way in to lock. Do
NOT place pod in
holder until set-up is
complete.
CAUTION: You should hear a click when the
pod holder locks in place.
-TURN ON POWER
3. Plug in the brewer
and turn on the
power switch.

NOTE: Water light will slowly flash until
setup is complete.
-FILLING INTERNAL TANK
4. Place a mug or bowl
that will hold at least
14 fl. oz. (414 ml) onto
the drip tray grate and
press BREW.
- Automatic models, press BREW button
to bring water into reservoir. Once filling
stops, press BREW again to fill internal
tank.
CAUTION: Water may not immediately flow
from the brewer.
CAUTION: Never remove pod holder from
brewer during a brew cycle. Wait for Heating
Indicator to go out before proceeding.
-INITIAL HEAT CYCLE
5. Water light will stop flashing and heater
indicator will come on.
Once heater indicator light goes out,
the setup is complete. Proceed to the
"Brewing Delicious Coffee Or Tea"
section.
