Product usage
Before first use
The AC adapter (provided) should be used as the primary source of power. The batteries (not
provided) are an alternative power source when a mains power supply is unavailable.
Connecting the AC adapter
•
Check the keyboard's rating plate matches the mains power socket voltage.
•
Plug the adapter jack into the adapter socket on the rear panel.
•
Plug the other end of the AC adapter into the mains power socket.
Installing the batteries
Unscrew and press the latch on the battery compartment cover inwards in the direction
of the arrow and lift it off. Insert 6 x 1.5V batteries making sure to match the polarity (+/-)
as shown in the battery compartment. Reposition the battery compartment cover and
tighten the screw to secure it in place.
NOTE:
•
Replace all the batteries when they are insufficient for the keyboard to function
properly.
•
Remove the batteries when you are not using the keyboard for a long period
of time or when you are using the AC adapter.
Assembly
NOTE:
•
Never use excessive force during assembly or when tightening screws or
bolts, as this may damage the product.
•
We recommend that you lay out all the parts next to the assembly area.
To assemble the stand, find a level, stable floor area. You will need the following (tools are
not provided):
•
Approximately 15 minutes for assembly
•
A minimum of 2 people
•
Adjustable spanner
•
2m² space
