The temperature inside the appliance is a function of several factors, such as the room temperature, the
quantity of food stored, the frequency of the door opening, etc.
Note: When the thermostat is set to 5, you may hear the compressor running more often.
SUPER FREEZE FUNCTION
Press the centre of the thermostat button to activate/deactivate quick freezing. Quick-freezing is
automatically deactivated after 34 hours or when the freezer has reached the desired temperature. If you
intend to freeze a large quantity of fresh products, press this button a little while before you put the food
in. Quick-freezing does not resume when power is restored after a power outage.
TEMPERATURE INDICATOR
The coldest zone:
The symbol opposite indicates the location of the coldest zone of your
refrigerator, where the temperature is less than or equal to 4°C. This zone is
located in the middle of the unit (in zone 3).
For proper food storage in your refrigerator and, in
particular, in the coldest zone, make sure that "OK"
appears in the temperature indicator.
If "OK" does not appear, the zone's average temperature
is too high. Set the thermostat to a higher position.
Whenever you adjust the thermostat, wait for the temperature inside the appliance to stabilise before
adjusting it again, if necessary. Only change the position of the thermostat gradually and wait at least 12
hours before checking again and possibly changing it.
Note: After loading the appliance with fresh food or after opening the door repeatedly (or leaving it open
for a prolonged period), it is normal that the word "OK" does not appear in the temperature indicator; wait
at least 12 hours before readjusting the thermostat.
If the evaporator in the refrigerator compartment (back wall of the appliance) becomes abnormally
frost-covered (appliance overloaded, high room temperature, high thermostat setting, frequent door
openings), gradually turn the thermostat knob back to a lower position until the compressor stops
running periodically again. The automatic defrosting of the refrigerator compartment only takes place if
the compressor stops intermittently.
