Safety Instructions

The user shall contact the health and safety representative to ensure he is given the proper protection by the
personal eyewear during live working conditions. This helmet is intended primarily to provide protection to the
wearer against falling objects and consequential brain injury and skull fracture. Integrated face shield/over
spectacles provide limited eye and/or face protection against flying fragments, chips, particles, sand and
similar hazards.
The helmet and eye and face protectors satisfy the requirements of (EU) Regulations 2016/425. The helmet
is certified according to EN 397: 2012 + A1:2012 (options as marked on the shell) and EN 50365: 2002 for
non-vented helmets. The face shield/over spectacles are certified according to EN 166:2001, EN 170:2002
and EN 172:1995. The face shield mounted on the helmet protects the user against low-voltage electrical arc
shortcircuits and is certified according to GS-ET-29:2011-05.
The Declaration of Conformity can be found under the following link: https://MSAsafety.com/DoC.
Depending on the individual helmet configuration, the helmet may be marked as explained below:
EN 50365: Electrical class 0 for installations with nominal voltage up to 1000 V AC
and 1500 V DC. The electrically insulating helmet cannot be used alone. It is also
necessary to use other insulating protective equipment according to the risks
involved in the work. Check voltages likely to be encountered, do not exceed the
limits of helmet and do not use where the insulation properties could be
compromised.
Refer to user manual.
