After you have released the lever, check it is locked, by pulling the seat shell without
operating the lever
Your car seat is equipped with a head support cushion (I), which can be used until your
child outgrows the seat.
Your car seat is equipped with a newborn body insert (H) for added support of your child.
We recommend to only use the newborn body insert until your child is 6 months old.
When the newborn body insert is no longer required, it can be removed. You must follow
the guidelines below to remove the newborn body insert.
Fully recline the seat, see section "Seat Reclining". Put hand under seat shell to locate
metal plate at end of buckle strap.
To remove the crotch strap feed the metal plate through the window and pass through
cover and newborn body insert (H).
Remove newborn body insert.
Reverse this process for re-assembly of the harness. Ensure when refitting the harness
crotch strap that the metal plate is completely through the window in the car seat base and
flat against the seat.
The car seat harness must be set to the size of your child.
The harness is a four point shoulder and lap harness and a crotch strap with the harness
buckle. The shoulder straps have individual shoulder pads (B).
The harness shoulder straps can fit into any one of four sets of slots in the seat back and
they must be passed through the slots over your child's shoulders.
