LED light
• To activate the pre-installed battery, remove the small tab from the LED socket (see figure 6A), dispose out of reach of child.
• Turn on LED light (see gure 6B).
• When placed in a dark location, the LED light will activate (see figure 6C).

LED light battery replacement
• Unscrew and take out the LED device from the socket (see figure 7A).
• Replace the old battery with a new 1.5V AAA battery (see gure 7B).
• Do the reverse orders for installation (see gure 7C).

Stay-Open Feature
IMPORTANT: Stay-Open Feature should be used only by adults, because the auto-close feature will be disabled,
allowing children to freely pass through the gate.
• To make use of the Stay-Open Feature, simply swing the door slightly past 90 degrees open in either
direction. The door will remain open until it is swung closed.
