Make sure that the cutter head does not
come in contact with stones, gravel, wire
or other foreign bodies during the start-up
and while working.
Pay attention to the line cutter. It can
cause serious laceration injuries.
Never attempt to stop the cutting equip-
ment (cutting line) with the hand. Always
wait until it stops by itself.
After switching off the device, the cut-
ter head still rotates for some sec-
onds.
Employ only an original cutting line. The
utilization of a metal wire instead of the
plastic line is forbidden.
Do not use the device in order to cut
grass that is not on the ground e.g. grass
that grows on walls, rock etc.
Do not cross any gravel-strewn roadways
or paths with device still running.
Do not use the device near flammable
liquids or gases. In case of non-observ-
ance, fire or danger of explosion exists.
Within the range of action, the user is re-
sponsible for damages to third parties
which have been caused by the use of
the device.
Ensure the vent holes have not been
clogged up.
Remove the power plug in case of non-
use, while cleaning the device, before
maintenance or the replacement of ac-
cessories. Ensure the device is switched
off when you insert the plug into the plug
socket.
Store the device in a dry location and out
of the reach of children.
Use only those replacement and acces-
sory parts which are supplied and recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
Do not attempt to repair the device your-
self. All work, which is not indicated in
these directions, may be carried out only
by service stations authorized by us.

Function description

The hand-guided and portable lawn trimmer
has an electrical motor as a drive.
As cutting equipment, the lawn trimmer uses
a double line with tap'n go automatic system.
During the cutting procedure, two plastic
lines rotate around an axis vertical to the cut-
ting plane.
Keep extension cables away from
cutting equipment.If the extension cable
is damaged during use, unplug it
immediately from the mains power
supply. DO NOT TOUCH THE CABLE
UNTIL YOU HAVE UNPLUGGED IT
FROM THE MAINS.
Ensure that the mains voltage agrees
with the information of the label.
As far as possible, attach the device only
to a plug socket with leakage-current-op-
erated circuit breaker (FI switch) with a
rated current of not more than 30 mA.
Protect the device against humidity. The
device must not be moist and neither
should it be operated in a moist environ-
ment.
Before every use, check the device and
the power cable with plug for damages.
Avoid body contact with grounded parts
(e.g. metal fences, metal posts).
Employ only extension cords which are,
at most, 75 m long and which have been
stipulated for use in the open air. The
flexible lead cross-section of the exten-
sion cord must be at least 1.0 mm
