Scan Tool Printing Procedure

To print data directly from the scan tool, the scan tool must be connected to a
PC that has the ScanMate software installed and prepared for printing. Use the
following steps as a reference for printing. For detailed instructions use the
ScanMate application's Help System.
1 Make sure the scan tool is connected to the PC. For details, refer to
PC Connection" on
2 Start the ScanMate application on the PC.
3 On the ScanMate main window, click the Print
ScanMate Print dialog box.

4 In the ScanMate Print dialog box, do the following:
a Select the COM port for the scan tool connection and click the
CONNECT button.
b Check the display area. If it contains data you do not want to print, click
the Clear button.
5 On the scan tool, display the data to print and press the Print key. This uploads the
data to the display area in the ScanMate Print dialog box on the PC.
6 In the ScanMate Print dialog box, view the data and click the Print button to print
the data to the PC's default printer.
