B1.6 Hydraulic checks after installation
After opening the water upstream of the equipment check for leaks;
1) Verify that the equipment is correctly positioned in order to ease ordinary maintenance.
2) Check for the presence of a by-pass circuit allowing to exclude the filter from serving and check for the
presence of sampling faucets installed upstream and downstream the filter.
3) Check for the compliances of the installation with all local rules or recommendations issued by the
competent local area offices.
4) Verify that there are no leaks from the entrance and exit connections and from the filter
drain connection.
In case of doubt please contact Acqua Brevetti SRL (Tel. +39.(0)49.8973432, e-mail: info@acquabrevetti.it).
B1.7 Allowed installation schemes
B1.8 Description of the backwashing electronic circuit.
BravoMAX A filters are available in two versions:
-
With short back-washing circuit, the washing is automatically activated every 2-4-6-8 hours.
-
With long back-washing circuit, the washing is automatically activated every 12-24-36-48 hours.
Each version has a specific electronic circuit.
Below are shown the main features of the supplied circuits.
The circuit shows three connecting cables located in the back of the filter; the first one is connected by the
manufacturer directly to the pressure differential; the second one, in central position, is the power cable which has to
be connected to the power supply dedicated plug provided; the third cable is a voltage free contact, for the
management of auxiliary devices serving the filter (solenoid valves, pumps, alarm etc..); being a voltage free contact
electrical loads must not be applied on it!
B1.9 Access and description of the D.I.P. switch (Dual In-line Package switches) to program the filter.
Remove the plug from the power supply.
Unscrew the three fasteners that fix the frontal white carter with the help of a screwdriver, as shown in the frame A of
the box below.
BravoMAX A - ENGLISH
Warning! It is necessary to install the filter following the water flow
direction indicated by the row stamped on the brass head of the
filter.
Any other arrangement may cause the incorrect functioning of the device.
The filter discharge connection must be canalized in a drain.
In case of doubt contact with Acqua Brevetti SRL (Tel.: +39.(0)49.8973432 or
send an e-mail to info@acquabrevetti.it).
Extract the white carter paying attention not to break it. The operator faces
the gear-motor of the filter and on the right side of the filter is located the
D.I.P. switch (frame C, details circled in red).
D.I.P. switch means a small block made of 4 white switches orientable in
ON-OFF position (detail in frame E).
In order to move the lever, use a small screwdriver, make them go up and
down.
The switches D.I.P. 1 and D.I.P. 2 are used to set the back-washing duration.
The switches D.I.P. 3 and D.I.P. 4 are used to set the waiting time before the
starting of the back washing cycle.
After adjusting the D.I.P. switch insert the white carter again in its position
paying attention to the power cable position; screw the three fasteners in
their location without tightening too much.
Insert the plug; the filter carries out the probationarytest washing; when it
is finished the device is operational with the new washing program set.
