Repair Kit for Oxygen Sensor Thread
1. Reamer
2. Tap M18x1.5
3. Tap M20x1.5
4. Assembly tool
5. Threaded bush
HOW TO USE
Take Tap M18x1.5 (2). Lubricate the tap with grease.
Turn it into the broken thread.
Should a repair be unsuccessful by threading,
proceed as following steps:
1. Take the Reamer (1). Lubricate the reamer with
grease. Turn the reamer under light pressure
clockwise to rub the defective thread.
2. Take the Tap M20x1.5 (3). Lubricate the tap with
grease. Turn it clockwise to cut a new thread for
the threaded bushing. Note: Turn the tap about
every 2 turns 1/4 turn in the opposite direction.
3. Mount the threaded bushing (5) on the
installation tool. Install the threaded bushing (5)
by turning clockwise into the previously cut
threads.
