Channel Lock enables parents to prevent their children from
watching inappropriate channels. If the locked channels are
selected to watch, the message "Channel lock on" appears on
the TV screen with a blue background and the sound is mute.
1. Press MENU to see the PICTURE main menu.
2. Press VOL+ or VOL- repeatedly to select the Setup menu.
3. Press CH+ or CH- repeatedly to highlight P. Lock.
4. Press OK to display the code screen.
5. Press the number buttons to enter your four-digit code. The
Parental Lock setup menu will appear on the screen.
6. Press CH+ or CH- to select Ch lock.
7. Press OK to display the feature of Ch lock.
8. Press CH+ or CH- repeatedly to highlight TV/CATV.
9. Press VOL+ or VOL- to select TV or CATV whichever you
have.
10. Press CH+ or CH- repeatedly to highlight Channel.
11. Press VOL+ or VOL- to select a channel number you want to
lock.
12. Press CH+ or CH- repeatedly to highlight Lock.
13. Press VOL+ or VOL- to select on or off. If you select on, this
channel will be locked.
14. If you want to have other channels locked, repeat the steps 8-
11.
15. After setting all the channels you want to lock, press CH+ or
CH- repeatedly to highlight Ch lock, then press VOL+ or
VOL- to select on (or off). If you select on, all the
channels you have selected will be locked.
16. Press MENU repeatedly to exit the menu or the menu will
automatically disappear within a few seconds if no buttons
are pressed on the remote control.
