3. Loosen the dipstick and pull it out.
4. Clean the oil from the dipstick.
5. Put the dipstick back in and tighten it.
6. Loosen and pull the dipstick out and read the oil
level.
7. The oil level must be between the marks on the
dipstick. If the level is near the ADD mark, fill oil to
the FULL mark.
8. Fill the oil through the hole that the dipstick sits in.
Fill the oil slowly.

types of engine oil that we recommend. Do not mix
different types of oil.
9. Tighten the dipstick correctly before you start the
engine. Start and idle the engine for approximately
30 seconds. Stop the engine. Wait 30 seconds and
do a check of the oil level again.
To replace the engine oil and oil filter
If the engine is cold, start the engine for 1–2 minutes
before you drain the engine oil. This makes the engine
oil warm and easier to drain.
WARNING:
for more than 1–2 minutes before you drain
the engine oil. The engine oil becomes very
hot and can cause burn injuries. Let the
engine become cool before you drain the
engine oil.

Do not operate the engine
If you spill engine oil on
1. Put a container below the oil drain plug.
2. Open the plastic cap on the end of the oil drain plug.
3. Attach a plastic hose to the end of the oil drain plug
to prevent spill.
4. Turn the oil drain plug counterclockwise and pull out
to open it.
5. Remove the dipstick.
6. Let the oil run out into the container.
7. Attach the oil drain plug.
8. Push the oil drain plug in and turn it clockwise to
close it.
9. Remove the plastic hose and put the cap on the oil
drain plug.
10. Turn the oil filter counterclockwise to remove it.
11. Lightly lubricate the rubber seal on the new oil filter
with new oil.
