2. SAFETY WARNINGS
• Before using the appliance for the first time,
read this instruction manual carefully and
retain it for future reference in order to obtain
the best results and ensure safe use.
• Before using the mixer, ensure that the mains
voltage corresponds to that indicated for the
appliance.
• If the plug provided with the appliance is not
compatible with the mains socket, have this
substituted by a qualified technician.
• After removing the packaging, check that the
appliance is in perfect condition. In case of
doubt, contact your nearest service centre.
• The packaging, (plastic bags, polystyrene
foam, etc.) can constitute a safety hazard and

should be kept out of the reach of children.
• This appliance is only for domestic use. Any
other use is considered inappropriate and
dangerous.
• In case of technical problems, switch off the
machine and do not try to repair it yourself.
Use only a manufacturer authorised service
centre and always demand the use of original
spare parts. Failure to comply with above-
mentioned conditions could affect the safety of
the machine.
• The user should never change the cable. In
case of damage contact your manufacturer
authorised service centre. Do not use the
appliance if the cable or plug are damaged.
• The manufacturer does not accept
responsibility for any damage caused by
incorrect or inappropriate use, or for repairs
carried out by unauthorised personnel.
Certain fundamental rules must always be
followed in the use of any electrical appliance.
ESPECIALLY:
• Do not touch or pull the electric cable with wet
or damp hands or feet.
• Do not let children use the appliance
• Never pull on the cable to unplug the
appliance.
• The appliance should be unplugged during the
attachment and removal of accessories.
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning
and after use.
• Do not leave the cable hanging over the side
of the table or work-surface.
• Never submerge the appliance in water or hold
it under a running tap.
• Before connecting the appliance, ensure that
the accessories you are planning to use are
correctly inserted and wait until the motor has
fully stopped before removing them.
• Never touch the whisk or dough hook when in
motion.
• The plastic elements should never be left to
dry on or near heaters.
• Do not use or place any part of this appliance
on or near hot surfaces (gas or electric hobs or
ovens, etc.)
• Never use the appliance to mix or stir paint or
varnish with inflammable solvents, as there is a
risk of explosion.
