Caring for your Shine therapy light
Important - Please read these instructions fully before operating your
therapy light.
Keep away from flame sources such as lighted candles.
The units should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low
temperature, vibrations, strong magnetic fields, high frequencies and
dusty environments.
The Shine SAD lamp is for indoor use only, the sensor supplied can be
positioned outside but should be sheltered from the rain and mounted
vertically so that any moisture drains out and should be well ventilated
and must not be immersed in water.
Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the vents
or openings of the unit.
Do not disassemble or modify the light, there are no user serviceable
parts. If the light is damaged in anyway or malfunctions do not use.
Consult a qualified service engineer.
Do not use abrasives, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the
surface of the unit. To clean, wipe with a clean soft cloth and a mild
detergent solution.
Only use the power adaptor supplied if you need to replace it make sure
the replacement has the same power rating.
This product uses batteries and should be disposed of separately from
household waste at an appropriate recycling point/centre at the end of
it's life cycle. For more detailed information
about disposal of your old appliance, please
contact your local authority.
