POSSIBLE CAUSES
Unit is not plugged in
Check circuit breaker
Water tank empty
Power switch not turned on
Unit not reset after refi lling tank
Using distilled or treated water
that does not contain enough
ions.
Water tank not properly
located on base unit
Humidity level set is achieved
Drain cap, drain cap gasket,
Tank cap or tank cap
gasket is missing or
improperly positioned
Mineral buildup in hot water
reservoir
SOLUTION
Plug in unit.
Remove and refi ll.
Turn on switch.
Check that there is water in
the hot water reservoir.
Add a "pinch" of table salt.
Reposition water tank.
Turn Relative Humidity
Control to higher setting
Tighten cap.
Replace tank cap
or reposition cap gasket.
Clean unit as per
instructions.
