REVOBLOCK motorised joint
use and maintenance manual
6.3 - PRECAUTIONS
Before every intervention it is necessary to:
completely evacuate all material present inside the machine
proceed with isolating the machine see 6.2 - MACHINE ISOLATION.
have maintenance and control operations carried out by properly instructed
personnel and only after viewing this manual.
6.4 - PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
This important chapter is about operations that the purchaser must complete in order to keep the machine
efficient.
OPERATIONS TO BE
Checking the integrity of
safety and protection devices
Lubrication of toothed rack and
worm screw
Checking tightness of hydraulic
connections
Regularly check the oil level and
clean and replace the hydraulic
system filters according to
standards imposed by the
Manufacturers.
Checking screw and nut tightness
6.4.1 - OIL FILTERING
In order to ensure proper operation and long motor duration, it is necessary for the oil contamination level to
be maintained within the value 22/20/17 according to the ISO 4406:1999 standard, for this reason it is
necessary for filters on the tank return to have a filtration level of 40 μm absolute value or 25 μm rated value
in an open circuit and 20 μm absolute and 10 μm rated value in a closed circuit.
1) In case of prolonged use, please check more frequently;
2) In case of extended downtime, please check the lubrication (to avoid cocking or pasting oil, etc.).
6.5 - MAINTENANCE SHEET
It is very important for control, verification and maintenance operations, even if simple, to be written in the
machine sheet (see 6.4 - PERIODIC MAINTENANCE) that must be kept with the machine. On this sheet,
once it has been photocopied, maintenance operators must record any interventions completed and any
problems detected.
