When filter is installed, the label on tube (no. 4, 7) must be visible from the front. (The arrow
on the pressure regulation valve body () indicates the flow direction.)
4. Retrofitting SATA filter 100 prep with filter 101 prep to filter 103 prep:
Disconnecting the SATA filter 100 prep from compressed air connections and from the
mounting bracket:
1)
Separate screw connection from 1st filter stage (glued
in with Loctite 638) by using a hot-air gun. Please make
sure that double nipple remains in 2nd filter stage.
2)
Remove 1st filter stage (sintered filter) from 2nd filter
stage (fine filter unit). Screw connection should be kept
in position with a spanner/wrench.
3)
SATA filter 100 prep after separation.
4)
SATA filter 100 prep with filter 101 prep before assem
bly.
5)
Apply Loctite 638 on double nipple of filter stage 2 (fine
filter unit) and filter stage 3 (activated charcoal).
6)
Screw filter stage 2 (fine filter unit) and filter stage 3
(activated charcoal) into correct position.
7)
Connect filter stage 1 with filter stage 2 and let dry for
approx. 10 min.
8)
Filter unit after bonding and drying. No final assembly!
9)
Disassembly of filter stage 2 (fine filter unit) and filter
stage 3 (activated charcoal) to interchange the filter
components.
10) Disassemble filter stage 2 (fine filter unit) and filter
stage 3 (activated charcoal) in a way that all compon
ents, i.e. filter housing, filter cartridge and sleeve
(coloured identification marker on the filter rod) are
removed.
11) Assembly of all components of filter stage 2 (fine filter
unit) and filter stage 3 (activated charcoal) in inter
changed order.
12) SATA filter 103 prep ready for assembly.
