3.1. Adapter 1

Adapter 1 can hold 20 test tubes with diameters from 10 -18 mm. The vessels are inserted as
shown in the illustration.

3.2. Universal Adapter

The construction of the universal adapter allows to fix different vessels with ground-in stoppers or
screwed caps as well as complete test tube racks. To that end, the two quick-action tensioning
nuts (H) are loosened by turning them once or twice. When they are in an inclined position, the
quick-action tensioning nuts can be moved along the threaded bolt (I). The universal adapter can
be opened to a width from 45-160 mm, depending on the case of application. Then the vessels or
the test tube rack (K) can be put into the adapter, as shown in the illustration. Next the cover plate
(L) is pressed down and secured with the quick-action tensioning nuts (H). (To this end, move the
quick-action tensioning nuts along the threaded bolt and tighten them by turning them once or
twice.)
