PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE
DART SLIM SYNC photocells are wall-mounted photocells
with a range of up to 20 metres under optimal conditions.
Coding of the transmitted signal, to be set at the time of instal-
lation, makes it possible to install 2 pairs of the same model
with no interference between them.
PRELIMINARY CHECKS
• Check that the item inside the packaging is intact and in
good condition.
• Ensure that the positioning of the photocells allows for cor-
rect installation and securing of the photocells (Fig. 2).
• Ensure that the photocells are positioned on parallel surfaces
and that they are all at the same height.

INSTALLATION AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Operation with facing transmitter and receiver. Double safety
relay.
• Proceed as shown in Figure 3-4.
• Depending on the cable routing position, drill holes in the
base in the prearranged area (see Fig. 4).
• Proceed as shown in Figure 5 using rawlplugs (Ø max 5 mm)
and corresponding screws (not included).
• Connect the cables from the control unit to the terminals us-
ing the following diagram.
TX Connections CN1 (Fig. 10)
1 – 12/24 Vac/dc.
2 – 0V.
RX Connections CN2 (Fig. 15)
1 – 12/24 Vac/dc.
2 – 0V.
3 – NC/NO contact.
4 – NC/NO contact.
• Apply silicone to seal the cable entry hole (Fig. 6).
• Before closing the photocell, check the alignment between
the receiver (RX photocell) and the transmitter (TX photocell).
The steady light of LED1 on the receiver (red light) confirms
alignment (Fig. 7).
• Clip the cover back on the base by first resting the top and
pressing downwards (see Fig. 8).
Photocell synchronisation (Coding selection "A" and "B")
• In the event of special installations, the photocell has two
operating channels coded "A" and "B" which gives the user
the option of installing 2 pairs of SYNC version photocells
with no interference between them.
The item is supplied with factory settings coded "A": Dip-
switch N°2 ofSW1 in the "OFF" position (Fig. 11).
Jumper J1 on the receiver in position "2-3" relay contact NC
(Fig. 16).
