Connecting the base to a sound source
Once you have chosen a location, you need to connect the base to the device you want to listen to, your
television, for example.
You have a number of options.
CONNECTING THE BASE TO THE RCA JACKS ON YOUR SOUND SOURCE
1. Plug the red and white RCA jacks on the
supplied audio cable into the red and white
RDA jacks on your television. They are
located either on the back or the side of
the television. Please refer to your device's
instruction manual to find them.
2. Plug the 3.5 mm jack end of the supplied
audio cable into the STEREO IN input,
located on the back of the base.
Comment:
• In the majority of cases, this will turn off the
speakers on your television. Sound is then
only emitted from the headphones.
CONNECTING THE BASE TO THE HEADPHONE JACK ON YOUR SOUND
SOURCE
You can also use a 3.5 mm jack/3.5 mm jack cable (not supplied) to connect the STEREO IN port on
the base and the 3.5 mm headphone jack on your television.

Transfer the sound to a speaker system
You can transfer the sound to a device such as a sound bar or any other speaker.
TRANSFERRING THE SOUND TO YOUR SOUND BAR USING RCA JACKS
After connecting the base to the television following the instructions in the previous section, you will
need an RCA/RCA audio cable (not supplied).
1. Plug the red and white RCA jacks on one end
of your audio cable into the red and white
RDA jacks on the base.
2. Plug the red and white RCA jacks on the
other end of your audio cable into the red and
white RCA jacks on the sound bar.
