6. Complete the Wood Surround Outriggers
Press the remaining eight short cams into the large holes in the two straight sidepieces. Make sure
the cam heads contact the bottom of the holes.
Turn the cams so the arrows face the nearest end of the sidepieces.
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Do not overtighten the pivot connectors. Thread the pivot
connectors into the threaded holes on each outrigger. A long pivot connector goes into the top hole, a short
pivot connector goes into the bottom hole.
Tighten the pivot connectors until they are snug. Do not overtighten the pivot connectors.
Make sure the pivot connectors are positioned so they swivel horizontally for installation. If needed,
back the pivot connectors off until they are in the proper position.
Insert the pivot connectors all the way into the small holes in the ends of the straight sidepieces.
Use a phillips screwdriver or the hex wrench provided to turn the cams 1/2 turn clockwise to
secure the pivot connectors to the straight side pieces.

7. Install the Plumbing

CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Make sure a watertight seal exists on all bath drain
connections.
NOTE: Provide access to all plumbing connections to simplify future maintenance.
Connect the trap to the drain according to the drain manufacturer's instructions.
Open the hot and cold water supplies and check all connections for leaks.
Run water into the bath and check the drain connections for leaks.
Fill the bath to the overflow and check for leaks.
8. Complete the Installation
Cast Iron Surfaces
When cleaning up after installation, do not use abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch and dull the bath
surface. Use warm water and a liquid, non-abrasive detergent to clean the surface.
CAUTION: Do not allow cleaners containing petroleum distillates to remain in contact with the surface
for long periods of time.
Remove stubborn stains, paint, or tar with turpentine or paint thinner.
