1. Product description
The Gardigo hedgehog house is a well protected winter shelter, to help hedgehogs
to overwinter. But not only for the winter the house is useful, it also enhances the
chance a hedgehog settles down in your garden. Hedgehogs use a shelter not only
for the winter sleep, but also the whole year. In the shelter they are protected from
cats and all other native enemies. Hedgehogs feed on snails and thus control the
snail population in your garden. The house comes in single components as assem-
bly set. The well arranged manual makes the assembly very easy.
2. Putting into operation
After Assembly you should set up the Gardigo hedgehog house in a sheltered location,
for example in a hedge or a bush. Set up the house in autumn and put straw, hay or
leaves into it. Additionally you can put leaves on the house, too. Make sure, the house
is protected from direct sunlight. In spring, after the winter sleep, the house should be
cleaned up once a year. Only use hot water for cleaning and refill the house with nest
material afterwards.
Please note: The hedgehog may not be disturbed during the winter time.
