Self Test

The machine automatically executes a self test immediately after the power is turned
ON. When the self test is OK, the start-up screen appears on the monitor after a short
while. If there is an error, an error message is displayed on the monitor, and the game
stops operating.
•
Do not touch the steering wheel while the self test is in progress. If the
steering wheel is operated during the test, the game may display an error
message and stop operating.
The head of the card reader/writer (where fitted) should be cleaned after every 100
game plays. If a message appears on the monitor and notifies the need for cleaning
the head, press the Versus Race Cancel button to activate the card reader/writer head
cleaning operation, or press the Item button to display the title screen and then
conduct the cleaning of the card reader/writer head at a later time (see next page).
