24. Shorten the finger guard

IMPORTANT NOTE
– The finger guard must cover the whole length of the
door gap. If the height of the door far exceeds the
height of the appliance for artistic or design reasons,
the extra long finger guard must be used
(see "Optional accessories", page 16).
– The supplied finger guard can be used for right and
left hinges. To do this, it must be turned by 180°.
Hold the finger guard at the hinge side of the open door.

The recesses on the finger guard must be situated
exactly at the height of the brackets!
Transfer the door dimensions (upper/below) to
̈
the finger protection.
Shorten the finger protection using a steel rule and
̈
a knife to the required length.

25. Attaching the finger guard

Insert the finger guard into the gap between the

appliance and adjacent furniture.
Clamp the finger guard under the brackets.
