MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Notice:
Always unplug the power cord from the outlet before any maintenance and cleaning.
1.
Changing the dust bag: When the colour of the dust bag indicator changes to red, it is time to change or
empty the dust bag.
Open the front cover by pressing the lock button in front.
Remove the full dust bag from the holder.
Insert new dust bag in the holder under the front cover.
2.
Clean the motor fi lter twice a year: Open the front cover, remove the fi lter, wash it with warm water and dry
thoroughly before using it again. If the fi lter is damaged replace it with a new one.
3.
Clean the output fi lter regularly: Open and remove the cover grill of the output fi lter. Shake to remove the
accumulated dust. If the fi lter is damaged replace it with a new one.
4.
Cleaning of the appliance surface: To clean use a soft cloth slightly moistened with a few drops of mild
detergent. Never use a solvent or any abrasive scouring cleaners. Never immerse vacuum cleaner in water
or any other liquid and do not clean it under running water.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before referring to a service centre, check the following list of common problems and how to remove
them.
Problem
The motor will not
start.
The suction power is
reduced.

Possible cause
The vacuum cleaner is not
powered.
Full dust bag, clogged hose or
tube or dirty fi lters.
Solution
Check the power cord and plug.
Refer to an authorized service centre if the
problems persist.
Replace the dust bag, remove foreign objects from
the hose or tube, replace fi lters.
