Before storing for long periods of time:
1. Double check the storage area is clean and dry.
2. Open the fuel tap and drain.
a) With the fuel valve closed, remove and empty the
sediments container.
b) Open the fuel valve and drain gasoline in the tank, into
an approved container.
c) Remove the sediments container and adjust.
d) Drain the carburetor loosing the drain bolt. Drain
gasoline in an approved container.
WARNING
Gasoline is an extremely flammable product
and under certain circumstances it can be explosive. Do not
smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
The motor is not
starting
Motor starts but
unexpectedly stops.
No electricity in the
AC outlets.
The overload thermal
protector is activated
when connecting the
equipment.
The machine vibrates
or makes a lot of noise
3. Unscrew the motor oil cap and drain oil.
4. Screw back the drain screw and fill with motor oil up to
the upper mark in the motor oil-measuring rod.
5. Remove spark plug and empty a spoonful of clean motor
oil in the cylinder. Start the motor with the manual start
jack-line handle and wait some revolutions to distribute oil.
Install back the spark plug.
6. Gently pull the manual start jack-line handle until you feel
it stop. At this moment is possible the position is completing
the compression phase and both the exhaust and absorption
valves are closed. Storing the motor in this position will
prevent Inner corrosion.
7. Cover the motor to guard from dust.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. The switch is off.
2. There is not enough fuel.
3. Loads connected into AC
plugs.
4. No spark in the spark plug.
5. Gasoline is not reaching
the carburetor.
6. Low oil level
Low oil level
Thermal protector has not
been reestablished.
1. One of the power
equipment it is damage.
2. The generator capacity is
being exceeded.
The anchor removal
operation has not been made
*TASC: Truper Authorized Service Center.
SOLUTION
1. Double-check switch is in "ON" position.
2. Fill up fuel into the generator tank.
3. Disconnect any load in the generator.
4a. Disconnect spark plug cable. Clean dust
around the spark plug base. Remove spark
plug.
4b. Connect spark plug cable.
4c. Turn on the motor switch.
4d. Ground the lateral electrode spark plug
over any metallic part in the motor and pull
the jack line handle to verify spark in the
spark plug.
Double check there is no
spilled fuel close to the spark plug otherwise
it could cause an explosion. Test this in a
well-ventilated area.
4e. Change the spark plug if there is no
spark.
4f. If the new spark plug is not working take
the generator to your nearest TASC*
5. To check, set an approved container
under the drain tube. Turn on the fuel tap
and loosen the drain bolt. Gasoline should
flow freely. If there is no problem try to start
the motor as indicated in the Manual.
Double check there is no
spilled fuel before starting the motor. See if
the area around the spark plug and
generator are dry. Fuel spills or excessive
vapor could cause explosion.
6. Check oil level and replace if necessary.
If the motor does not star take it to your
nearest TASC*
Check oil level and restart motor.
Reestablish the overload thermal protector.
1. Before connect any equipment, check it
work well.
2. Verify the power capacity of equipment
connected and if is necessary reduce the
load, wait a minutes before to reestablish the
overload protector. If the problem persist take
it to your nearest TASC*
Identify the warning label reading: "Remove
this protection before using the generator"
and remove the rubber support.
