Cleaning the air filter or HEPA filter
The exhaust air filter or HEPA filter cleans the air a final time before it leaves the
vacuum cleaner. This filter and the grid that covers the filter should be cleaned
regularly. You can clean the filter as follows:
1. Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Always pull the
plug itself, never pull the cord.
2. Open the grid that covers the filter by pushing the clip
up. The filter is visible when the grid is removed.
3. Take out the filter.
4. Rinse the filter under cold water and let it air dry
completely.
5. Put the filter back into place or replace the filter by a
new one. Make sure that the filter is placed properly.
6. Seal with the grid. Make sure that the grid clicks into
place.
CAUTION:
• Always use the vacuum cleaner with the filters in place. If not, this can lead to
loss of power or damage to the motor.
• Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the filters.
• Do not place the filters in the dishwasher.
• Do not use a hair dryer to dry the filters.
STORAGE
The vacuum cleaner can be easily stored:
• Rewind the cord by pressing the foot pedal with the
symbol.
• Push the telescopic tube together. Push the slide button
forward and push the top part of the tube down to make
it shorter. Release the slide button and let the tube snap
into place.
• Place the appliance upright, at the bottom there is an
attachment in which you can slide the floor nozzle.
