VACUUM OPERATION

WARNING:
Never run the unit without the vacuum tubes and vacuum
bag installed. Use of an improperly assembled unit could
result in serious personal injury.
Install the vacuum tubes and bag. Refer to the Assembly
section earlier in this manual.
Place the vacuum bag strap over your shoulder and hold
the handle knobs in your hands. (Proper operating posi-
tion is shown in fig. 10.)
Start the blower/vac. Refer to Starting/Stopping the
Blower/Vac earlier in this manual.
Move the unit from side to side along outer edge of the
debris. To avoid clogging, do not place the vacuum tube
directly into the debris pile.
WARNING:
Before inspecting, cleaning or servicing the machine,
unplug the power cord and wait for all moving parts to
stop. Failure to follow these instructions can result in
serious personal injury or property damage.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to
comply with ANSI Z87.1, along with hearing protection.
Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into
your eyes, resulting in possible serious injury.

that all debris has been cleared before reassembling the
vacuum tubes.

servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of
any other parts could create a hazard or cause product
damage. See instruction for servicing of Double-Insulated
Appliances.
NOTICE:
Periodically inspect the entire product for damaged,
missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps,
etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not
operate this product until all missing or damaged parts
are replaced. Please contact customer service or an
authorized service center for assistance.
