7 TROUBLESHOOTING
7.1 Alarm management
Alarms are indicated by an acoustic signal (if activated) and a message on the control panel.
In case of an alarm, shut down the stove, eliminate the cause and restart the stove according to the normal
procedure described in this manual.
Every alarm status causes immediate stove shutdown.
The alarms, with causes and cures, which can appear on the control panel are listed below:
Signalling
AL 1
POWER
-The stove does not start.
FAILURE
-Occurs in case of a fume
AL 2
temperature probe fault.
FUME
-The shutdown procedure is
PROBE
activated.
-Occurs if the fume probe
detects a fume temperature
AL 3
above 280°C.
HOT FUMES
-The shutdown procedure is
activated.
-Occurs when the exhaust fan
AL 4
is faulty.
-The shutdown procedure is
FAN FAIL
activated.
-No flame in ignition stage.
AL 5
-The shutdown procedure is
NO IGNITION
activated.
AL 6
-Brazier not fed with pellets.
NO PELLETS
-Occurs in case of cutting in of
AL 7
auger duct temperature or
THERMAL
heating chamber water
temperature safety thermostat.
SAF
-The system is stopped.
ALARMS - MESSAGES
Fault
-No power during the lighting
stage.
-Faulty probe
-The probe is disconnected
from the board.
-Faulty tangential fan.
-No power to tangential fan.
-Too many pellets.
-The fume fan is blocked.
-Faulty speed control sensor.
-No power to fume fan.
-The pellet hopper is empty.
-The electrical element is faulty,
dirty or not correctly positioned.
-Pellet load setting incorrect.
-The pellet hopper is empty.
-The pellet feed gearmotor has
to adjust.
-The gearmotor does not feed
pellets.
-The safety thermostat has
detected a temperature above
the setting threshold due to
overheating of the bottom part
of the hopper or the heating
chamber water, blocking
gearmotor operation.
