Fitting
Charging the battery (accessory)
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure
full battery capacity, fully charge the battery in the charger
before using your tool for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without
reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging process
does not damage the battery.
The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharge
by the Electronic Cell Protection (ECP). A protective circuit
switches the cordless worklight off when the battery is
drained.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the
u
worklight has been automatically switched off. The
battery can be damaged. Ensure that the battery is
charged and that the worklight has cooled before switch-
ing on the worklight again.
To remove the battery (8), press the release button (7) (see
figure A) and pull the battery backwards and out of the cord-
less worklight. Do not use force to do this.
Follow the instructions on correct disposal.
Putting the button cell into operation
The cordless worklight is equipped with a button cell so that
it can be detected by the mobile device even if no battery
(8) is inserted, see figure A.
Remove the separating film between the button cell (10)
and the button cell contact when using the tool for the first
time.
Unlock the locking mechanism of the battery cover (6) and
fold up the battery cover (5).
Unscrew the screw of the battery compartment cover and re-
move the battery compartment cover (11). Remove the film
from the button cell contact and reattach the battery com-
partment cover with the screw.

Close the battery cover (5) and then the locking mechanism
of the battery cover (6).
Make sure that the rubber lip is seated correctly when
u
closing the battery cover. Otherwise protection against
dust and splash water will not be ensured.
Remove the battery cover
A very large battery will prevent the battery cover (5) from
closing. In this case, the battery cover can be removed.
Push the two hinges inwards against the spring force. Re-
move the battery cover.
To refit the battery cover, push the two hinges inwards
against the spring force again. Place the battery cover on the
housing. Allow the two hinge pins to engage in the openings
on the housing.
Setting up
Place the cordless worklight on a stable, level surface. Make
sure it is secure.
Hanging up
The notched carrying handle (3) can be used to hang up the
cordless worklight. Make sure it is hung up securely.

switching itself off if required for protection. Let the cordless
worklight cool down and then switch the cordless worklight
back on.
Changing the Button Cell (see figure A)
