The fault is shown by an error code on the display as following if the error occurs.
Proceed as follows in such cases:
- Switch the device off with mains switch,
- Carry out corrective measures,
- Restart the device.
Error code Causes
E 2
- In remote operation (PC), no communication
between RV 10 and HB digital
- IR connection to RV 10 disconnected
E 3
- Temperature inside the device is too high
E 9
- Fault in storing the safety circuit set tempera-
tures
- Memory chip (EPROM) defective
E 21
- Safety relay does not open
E 23
- Adjustable safety circuit defective
E 24
- Set safety temperature exceeded
E 25
- The heater control circuit switch (TRIAC) is faul-
ty. The heater or the supply line is disconnec-
ted.
E 26
- Dry running
E 27
- Error in calibration
E 28
- Breakage of the controller sensor
E 29
- Short-circuit in the safety sensor
E 30
- Short-circuit in the controller sensor
E 31
- Breakage of the safety sensor
E 32
- Temperature deviation is too big
If the actions described fails to resolve the fault or another error code is displayed then take one of the following steps:
- Contact the service department,
- Send the device for repair, including a short description of the fault.
In accordance with IKA warranty conditions, the warranty period
is 24 months. For claims under the warranty please contact your
local dealer. You may also send the machine directly to our factory,
enclosing the delivery invoice and giving reasons for the claim.
You will be liable for freight costs.

Warranty

The warranty does not cover worn out parts, nor does it apply
to faults resulting from improper use, insufficient care or
maintenance not carried out in accordance with the instructions
in this operating manual.
