Access control system
The components of the access control system are delivered in a package and are
coordinated with each other. Components from different packages will not work in
combination.
Door leaf
Suitable materials: Wood, wooden materials, plastic and metal
Mortise lock
• Mortise lock in compliance with DIN 18251.
• Lever handle sets are suitable for the mortise lock.
See picture section on page 32.
Pay attention to the following instructions during installation:
• Do not close the door during installation and initial start-up. It cannot be opened
from the outside until installation and initial start-up are complete.
• Insert and adjust the product components without using force.
• Tighten screws by hand.
• Use special tools ONLY for opening the thumbturns.
In case of screw fixing of the thumbturn with the ratchet spanner (K), the
thumbturn may be damaged. Only screw the thumbturn sleeve (B) on manually.

The product is supplied in so-called "simple mode" for stand-alone operation (SA).
These instructions only describe how to start up in this mode.
Details of use of the product with software applications can be found in the relevant
software documentation.
The work operations only need to be carried out once during initial start-up.
The individual work operations must be carried out within a short time window.
Therefore:
• First study every work operation and have the keys that are needed at the ready
before commencing with initial start-up.
• Perform the work operations quickly and without interruptions.
