1. Set Selector Switch to Ω RG.
2. Press Function Button until 'OL' and MΩ
appear on the display.
3. Connect the test leads to circuit or
component.
4. Read value on the display.

Diode Test

1. The diode should be disconnected from
circuit. Required forward voltage must be
<1 V.
2. Set Selector Switch to Ω RG.
3. Press Function Button until G appears in
display.
4. Connect red test lead to anode and black
test lead to cathode of the diode. A good
diode has a forward voltage drop of about
0.6 V. An open or reverse biased diode will
read 'OL'.

Continuity Test

1. Set the Selector Switch to Ω RG.
2. Press Function Button until Ω appears in
display.
3. Connect test leads to the circuit. Beeper
sounds when resistance is <35 Ω.
4. The display will show the resistance or 'OL'
for an open circuit.
